The following is information for parents and players regarding your acceptance into our summer academy. If you’re new to Staley Tennis, please check out information on our About page.

Our 2021 summer season will begin Tuesday, June 1st and run all the way through July. We have divided the academy into two divisions:

Academy A—This is for more advanced junior players who are now at the stage of competing in higher level events such as high varsity high school positions and who have some experience in USTA or UTR sanctioned events. During practices in this grouping we will focus on advanced level drills and hold mini clinics on strategic and tactical parts of the game that will enhance players’ effectiveness in match play.

Academy B—This is for beginner to intermediate players who may be low varsity or JV high school players or middle school. During practices this group will focus on appropriate level drills for their skill sets as well as learning about the more fundamental basics of tennis, particularly when it comes to gaining the proper technique (grips, swing paths, movements. etc.) in order to advance to be a higher level competitive player.

Schedules: Academy group drills/practice will take place every Tuesday and Thursday night at Wawasee High School Courts in Syracuse, IN at the following times:

5:30-7:00PM Academy B
7:00-9:00PM Academy A

If any of the above dates are postponed due to weather, you will be notified via text. These cancelled sessions will not be made up, nor will they be billed to clients.

Session Cost—Cost per session is $15 (Academy B) or $20 (Academy A). If you are dropping off cash or check each week, please make sure this is in an envelope with the player’s name on, so that it gets credited to your account. Otherwise, you will receive an invoice to pay online each week.

Please make sure you have the following items for each session:

Racquet
Tennis shoes
Appropriate Clothing
Water

Players should be stretched out and ready to go by the start time of drill, so please arrive early.

REDUCED PRIVATE SESSIONS—Final Call!

As part of the academy, players will get 50% off on any private lesson they book throughout the summer. You can book these directly on my booking calendar (no upfront cost to book). Spaces are limited and will more than likely be completely reserved by the first week of June (as they have in year’s past). So please book now!

These private sessions generally will take place at my 2-court training facility in North Webster, IN in the AM on weekdays.
