Session times are from:
- 5:00 to 6:30 PM—Beginner (UR-1.99 UTR)
- 6:30 to 8:00 PM—Intermediate (2.00-3.99 UTR)
We will be focusing this program on the development of junior tennis players: phase 5 (yellow ball, regular court).
Beginner—Much of the focus of this group will be on developing the proper basics (swing paths and grips) and learning to rally with other players. Introduction to serve checkpoints and net play will be included as well as many fun, competitive drills.
Intermediate—Much of the focus will be on drills and competition that will increase the player’s skill set toward competing at a higher varsity level in high school. Class attendees should have at least some varsity experience or be approved to attend this class by its instructor.
Session Cost—If you’ve selected to pay weekly: Sessions are $15. If you are dropping off cash or check each week, please make sure this is in an envelope with the player’s name on, so that it gets credited to your account. Otherwise, you will receive an invoice to pay online each week.
Please make sure you have the following items for each session:
- Tennis shoes
- Appropriate Clothing
Players should be stretched out and ready to go by the start time of drill, so please arrive early.
Note: There are no bathrooms or changing rooms available at the facility, so please make sure players arrive dressed and ready. There is a bathroom available on the residence in case of emergencies. There is a gas station a few miles south on Highway 13 that has public restrooms.
If you have any questions or can’t make one of the sessions, please let me know by calling or texting me. My cell phone number is 574-551-3194. Please add it to your contacts list as I will be sending out updates from time to time.
