Weekend Warrior Event #1

Adults and juniors: Catch the last nice days of outdoor tennis in Indiana this summer in our Weekend Warrior Series! This is a verified UTR event. 3-matches guaranteed in three hours. Fast4 format, best of 3 sets (w/ third-set tiebreaker).

Weekend Warrior Series #1 is Saturday, September 7, 2019.

Match windows will be assigned to clusters of 4 players in a round robin competition as follows:

• Saturday Session 1: 8:00AM-11:00AM
• Session 2: 11:30AM-2:30PM
• Session 3: 3:00PM-6:00PM
• Session 4: 6:30PM-9:30PM

Players can list any sessions they cannot attend during signup, but please be flexible or you may not end up in a grouping.

Series Info

The 2019 Weekend Warrior Series will have multiple events taking place during the weekends beginning 9/7 and ending on 10/27. Players may sign up for selected weekends or can sign up to play in all weekend events scheduled.

Points will be given to each player in the series in the following manner:

• 1 pt. for each match played
• 1 pt. for each game won
• 10 pts. for each match won

Series Award: The player with the most points accumulated throughout the entire series will be the 2019 Weekend Warrior Champion and will receive a championship glass award, media coverage and, of course, bragging rights!

Rainout policy: Indiana weather is nuts, so we’ve adapted a no-squeegee policy and assigned Mother Nature to dry our courts. If any sessions are rained out, we will try to reschedule matches on Sunday if possible. If matches cannot be played, we will refund any entry fees paid, but series points will not be accrued for rained out sessions. Simply consider these instances Downright Unfortunate, God’s Will, Life’s Not Fair!, Karma, A Lack Of Lady Luck, Mother Nature’s Monkey Wrench or some other variant of Misfortune. And then remember the price of the entry fee for each series event. 😉
