This past weekend, Staley Tennis hosted a closed weekend tournament for its academy and club members. Each round had timed matches that ended in 45 minutes or 1 set, whichever came first. The main draw was played out on Saturday, October 12, 2019.
Holden Babb (Syracuse, IN) was the winner of the tournament, with the following results:
- Round of 16: 6-0 win vs. Rylee Firestone (Leesburg, IN)
- Quarterfinals: 6-4 win vs. Joseph Harper (Warsaw, IN)
- Semifinals: 6-1 win vs. Kiah Farrington (Pierceton, IN)
- Finals: 6-1 win vs. Jack Gibbons (North Webster, IN)
Sunday, October 13, 2019, the back draw tournament began. Nathan Harper (Warsaw, IN) was the winner with rounds and results as follows:
Quarterfinals: 6-0 win over Rylee Firestone (Leesburg, IN)
Semifinals: 6-3 win over Clayton Firestone (Leesburg, IN)
Finals: 6-5 win over Zeke Keim (Syracuse, IN)
