USTA Team Tournament Coaching

Staley Tennis has a strong presence in local USTA tournaments, supporting its academy players with coaching and management.  Players who sign up for a Personal Membership through our academy get complimentary shared coaching at a minimum of 7 local tournaments throughout the year.

Avoid Becoming A Serial Driller

Tennis is not just an exercise, but a competition.  It is meant to be played.  Many junior players avoid critical match play and only focus on training and taking part in the more social classes some clubs and academies offer.  At its core, our academy stresses competition.  Players will never be complete until they learn how to win in match play.  Many players train and drill with pros and end up with nice form and swing paths, but can never win matches.  In tennis, it takes much more than just technique to become a successful tennis player.
