Two players from our academy competed this weekend at the Wildwood Racquet Club Holiday Open in Fort Wayne, IN. Kendra Doerr returned to USTA action, playing in her first USTA match since March. The seventeen-year-old made her debut in the 18U girls division and played competitively throughout the tournament against some very tough competition.
Joey Harper played in the 12U boys division and took home his very first USTA trophy by winning the consolation bracket. In the finals, he beat his opponent 7-5, 6-0 to secure the trophy. Congratulations, Joey!!!
