Staley Tennis ran a special bonus tournament during Saturday’s Open Duals. Coach Staley is a big proponent of short pressure match competitions for both his academy and club players. So Staley Tennis recently registered as an official club to support the UK movement known as Tie Breaker Tens.
Tie Breaker Tens (TB10) is a quick fire competitive format that can be enjoyed by everyone and is easily played within the confinements of a recreational session. These events help open tennis up to a new, wider audience, encouraging greater participation in sport and inspire more people to pick up a racket. More information can be found at the TB10 official website.
Staley Tennis plans to run more of these events alongside upcoming UTR tournaments.
Reese Filpus of Bremen, IN was the champ in our first ever run using the TB10 format. Check out the final brackets below or visit the tournament page at our club site.

Staley Tennis is a Northern Indiana-based tennis training academy for juniors and a professional verified UTR club for both juniors and adults. For more information on joining this club and playing in future leagues and tournaments, please visit the official Staley Tennis Club site.
