Tennis Coaching & Consultation
Staley Tennis’s junior pathway program is focused on initiating elementary school players into the sport. We work with Net Generation to train young players the right way. We equip them with the correct racquets, transition balls and nets and appropriately sized courts for each age group. Our drills focus on the ABCs (agility, balance and coordination skills) needed to develop into a complete junior player.
Players will earn graduation certificates from each program and unique tennis-specific report cards each season. All players in the Junior Pathway will be first in line for all future academy openings.
For players who continue their tennis careers into high school and college, Staley Tennis offers its annual full summer academy for advanced and beginning junior players 13 and older. This 8-week summer session includes group and private training options. Players are selected from the junior pathway programs first and then through an application process.
Each calendar year 8 junior players are selected to take part in our full summer (8-week) academy group A which includes bi-weekly practices/group drills and discounted individual training sessions and classes.
Our 2022 Academy is tentatively scheduled for June 6-July 29, 2022 at Wawasee High School courts in Syracuse, IN.
Coach Staley is USPTA-certified professional trainer and coach and offers 1-on-1 training with junior players throughout the outdoor season (April 15-October 15). He has given sessions to more than 150 junior players to date and has personally coached 3 individuals from beginner to state-ranked players.
Private lessons are highly recommended for athletes ages 11 and over who seek to become a more highly competitive player in the sport at either the high school or collegiate levels.
Each calendar year 8 junior players are selected to take part in our full summer (8-week) academy group B which includes bi-weekly practices/group drills and discounted individual training sessions and classes.
Our 2022 Academy is tentatively scheduled for June 6-July 29, 2022 at Wawasee High School courts in Syracuse, IN.
