Two more gorgeous weekends in the books for our club duals. These UTR verified events are getting more popular.
DUALS #2 (MAY 30-31)
We altered the format in Duals #2. Round robin groupings competed in Fast4 best of 3 sets with tiebreaker. Round robin #1 featured Nathan Harper (Warsaw, IN), Cooper LeCount (New Paris, IN), Gabriella Umbower (Goshen, IN) and Bo Brunner (Syracuse, IN). Harper and LeCount finished with two match wins while Umbower and Brunner both had one.
Round robin #2 featured Holden Babb (Syracuse, IN), Isaac Stahly (Goshen, IN), Joseph Harper (Warsaw, IN) and Kiah Farrington (Pierceton, IN). Stahly turned in a perfect night, winning all three of his matches. Harper won 2 matches of 3 and Babb recorded one match win.
DUALS #3 (June 6-7)
Eight more competitors took part in our 3rd Duals. The format reverted back to regular 6-game sets. First round match winners included Issac Stahly (Goshen, IN), Kiah Farrington (Pierceton, IN), Pierson Wellington (Goshen, IN) and Colten Kitchen (Rolling Prairie, IN).
The second round matches featured head-to-head matches between the winners of round 1 facing off as well the losing contestants of the first round facing off. Second round winners were Isaac Stahly, Nathan Harper (Warsaw, IN), Pierson Wellington and Nathan Perek (Syracuse, IN).
