The Staley Tennis summer academy will take place in the 10-court facility located at Wawasee High School in 2021. We’re keeping it simple this year and trying to make it easier for all families to afford to get their children trained by a USPTA professional.
2021 Academy will be structured around a core practice schedule for two groups (Academy B for newer/beginning players and Academy A for competitive, more advanced players).
The academy will be active from June 1st-July 31st this year.
Academy B (Beginner) will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30PM-7:00PM EST. Academy A (Advanced) will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00PM-9:00PM EST.
Throughout this 9 week academy, practices will be devoted to running group drills, competitions and our core classes (Singles IQ, Doubles, Serve) will all be worked into the curriculum.
Cost will be $360 (max.) for Academy A and $270 (max.) for Academy B (these prices include all summer sessions—36 hours total for Academy A and 27 total hours for Academy B). Also, this will be billed at the end of each week and any practice cancellations or rainouts will not be billed!
Academy families will also get exclusive access to deeply discounted private lessons and hitting sessions with Coach Staley which will take place throughout the week. These are optional, dependent on each players’ needs and can be requested after acceptance into the academy.
Coach Staley will also be offering optional evaluations to each player which will include full assessments and video and a 9-point serve report with stills. These are highly recommended (but will be optional) for players who want to request private lessons in addition to the academy practices.
